Mrs. Michele Hoisington

Hello 5th grade students and families!  I am super excited to be teaching at Liberty Elementary School this year. I have been teaching in LCPS since moving to Virginia from California in 2009. I taught at Stone Hill Middle School, J.Michael Lunsford Middle School, and Brambleton Middle School.  I received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education from Hastings College and continued my education at Cal-State LA, San Diego University, University of LaVerne, and George Mason University.  I graduated with a Master of Science in Education Administration through Shenandoah University in August of 2020. 

I moved from South Riding to Aldie a few years ago. I am married and have 3 daughters that graduated from Freedom High School.  Two of them attended and promoted from 5th grade at Liberty Elementary! 

I enjoy spending time with my family and my two dogs, Chewy and Auzzie.  In my spare time, I like to watch television and work in my garden.  I love Oreo cookies.  I have tried several of the different kinds.  I love to eat any type of Mexican food!
