Ms. Ra

  • Hello families! My name is Elena Ra, and I am thrilled to be part of Liberty Elementary's second-grade team for the 23-24 school year! I received my bachelor's in Special Education from James Madison University and a Master's in Elementary Education from the University of Virginia. Throughout many internships and practicums, I was able to work with diverse learners in various grades, including 10th grade, 6th grade, 1st grade, and Kindergarten. This year will mark my third year teaching second grade at Liberty! My goal as an educator is to provide equitable learning opportunities for all students in an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity and fosters a lifelong love for learning. 

  • When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, trying new foods, and taking spontaneous adventures with my two Standard Poodles, Luna and Noelle.

     

    I am looking forward to an exciting year full of learning and growth with my second graders!
