Ms. Pekala

Welcome to First Grade! My name is Jennifer Pekala and this is my 28th year teaching and third year at Discovery Elementary. I am thrilled to be teaching first grade! I started my career in Maryland where I taught Kindergarten and second grade for three years. I then moved to Loudoun County and have taught first, second, third and fifth grades. I graduated from Salisbury State University with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and from George Mason University with a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
