Hello Labs! I am so excited to welcome you to 4th grade. This will be my second year teaching at Legacy. 

I grew up in Mechanicsville, Virginia, which is right outside of Richmond. I attended James Madison University for both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, so I am a Double Duke! In my spare time I enjoy hiking, reading a good book, travelling, and spending quality time with friends and family. 

It is my goal to cultivate a safe, fun, and engaging learning environment for all of my students, as well as to nurture a love of learning. We will work together to challenge one another, think critically, and create an inclusive classroom community. I look forward to meeting my students and their families- we are going to have an awesome school year!
