Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Kelsey Goodnight

My name is Kelsey Goodnight and I am so happy to be returning to Lowes Island as your Special Education Dean.

This is my 11th year with Loudoun County Public Schools, where I previously served as an Early Childhood Special Education teacher for 9 years. I attended Virginia Tech for my undergraduate, George Mason to receive my Master's degree in Early Childhood Special Education, and I recently completed my Administration and Supervision Master's degree at Averett University.

My husband, Andrew, and I recently celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary. We have two cats, Scout and Jack. We love to travel, especially to Asheville, NC and Walt Disney World.

I am so excited about the new school year and I look forward to more opportunities to connect and collaborate with the Lowes Island Community. Communication is key, so please don't hesitate to reach out.
