Mrs. Tonya Anhut

Tonya Anhut is so excited to be joining the Hovatter Honeybee community as a resource teacher during the 2021-2022 school year! She can’t wait to connect with the families and staff at Hovatter. After what was a very unique year for all of us, it’s going to be nice to return to some normalcy! Prior to joining the Hovatter team, she was a resource teacher in Leesburg at Ball’s Bluff Elementary for 5 years and a resource teacher in South Riding at Hutchison Farm Elementary for 4 years (most recently)! This will be her 10th year teaching (all of which have been in Loudoun County)! Tonya is a Loudoun County native; born and raised in Leesburg and has settled down in Aldie with her husband (William) and 3 kids (Kayleigh-11, Ashton-2, Keelin-5 months)! She attended Liberty University where she earned her Bachelors in Psychology and Sociology and later returned to earn her Masters of Arts in Teaching Special Education. When she is not in the classroom you can find her with her family and kitty, going to parks, attending professional sporting events (GO WASHINGTON PRO SPORTS), attending activities at her church, outside (at the pool/beach), or relaxing on my deck or patio! She can’t wait to meet you!

If you ever need anything, please reach out!
