• For any student who withdraws from LCPS to transfer to another education organization, the student account will have the following access:

    • Within 24 hours of the student's status change in Phoenix, the student’s account will be set to limited access to download content only and students will no longer be able to login to their LCPS issued Chromebook
      • Students will have access to download content for 30 days
      • Please remember that the student withdrawal form requires collection of the student Chromebook as well
    • After 30 days, students will have no access to their LCPS accounts and their account will be placed in archive status
    • After 60 days in archive status, student account will be deleted
      • All content will be deleted when this occurs

     

    For any student who graduates from LCPS (not enrolled for the next school year or not attending summer school), the student’s account will have the following access:

    • Student will have full access to content and applications through June 30th
    • Student will have limited access to only download content from July 1 through July 31st
    • Student will have no access beginning August 1 and accounts will be placed in archive status through September 30th
    • Student accounts will be deleted on October 1st - All content will be deleted when this occurs

     

    For any student who leaves LCPS (not enrolled for the next school year or not attending summer school), the student’s account will have the following access: 

    • Student will have full access to content and applications through June 30th

    • Student will have limited access to only download content from July 1 through July 31st 

    • Student will have no access beginning August 1 and accounts will be placed in archive status through September 30th 

    • Student accounts will be deleted on October 1st - All content will be deleted when this occurs

    For any student who is withdrawn based on 15 days of consecutive absences (vacation, illness and not placed on homebound instruction, long term suspension, or other):

    • Students will have full access to their LCPS account, Chromebook, and cloud services for 30 days from the status change in Phoenix
    • After 30 days, students will have limited access to download content only
    • If the student does not re-enroll in LCPS by September 30th of the following year, the account will be deleted

    For any staff member who leaves LCPS, their account will CLOSE COMPLETELY at the end of the contract. For licensed staff, that will be June 9. Download all materials BEFORE midnight on the last contract day.

        Once you have the downloaded file, you'll notice it's in a ZIP folder. You can't just upload that to a personal Google account. Here's how to use it once you downloaded it:

        Access Office365/OneDrive through LCPS Go.

        Any files saved to your OneDrive account can be downloaded as a zip file using these instructions. You can then unzip the files and upload to a personal account.

        • Log on to Naviance
        • From your dashboard, click on About Me
        • Click on My Stuff
        • Documents that can be downloaded will give you a print/export option (you can "Print to PDF")
        • Save all the files to your own flash drive or personal drive

        • Log on to blogs.lcps.org 
        • Look above your Profile icon and hover over My Sites
        • Hover over the name of the site you want to export
        • Clcik on the pop-out's dashboard link

         

        • Hover over Tools and pick Export

        • Save the file to a personal drive and then import onto a personal WordPress account

        • Click the “Your Projects” section
        • Hover on each project and click on the three dots that appear at the top right of the thumbnail.
        • Click Download
        • Save all the files to your own flash drive or personal drive

        Please note: If you toggled on the Google Drive option during Export and had the project save to the WeVideo folder in Google Drive, you only need to use Google Takeout.

        • Log on to WeVideo using your LCPS Google account
        • On your dashboard, click Exports on the left sidebar
        • Right-click on the thumbnail of each video
        • Select Download - repeat for each file
        • Save all the video files to your own flash drive or personal drive
