    The Office of Outreach Services supports the family liaisons at each school, interpreters, and the Community School Initiative. Our office works closely with school staff, community partners, business partners and other stakeholders. Our goal is to connect students and families to the school community, and identify tools and resources that will help all students achieve educational success.

    Language Assistance Services

    The Office of Outreach Services provides language assistance services for LCPS families with limited English proficiency. Interpreters are available for school events and meetings and are arranged by each school.

    Community Schools

    The Community School initiative provides increased mental health resources, after-school opportunities for students, and parent engagement opportunities at each of our designated elementary Community School. Each school is staffed by a Community School Family Liaison and an assigned School Social Worker.
