Mrs. Ahmed

My name is Nahid Ahmed and I am one of the Teacher Assistant in self-contained classroom. I am originally from Bangladesh. I received my Master's in international Relations and MBA in Bangladesh. I have 10 years of corporate job experience. I worked in several multinational companies and US Embassy, Bangladesh. I came here in 2010 and opened a Licensed day care for children which I continued till 2017. In 2018, I have started working in Tolbert ES. I live in Leesburg. My husband and I have a daughter and a son. My daughter is freshman at GMU, and my son is a 4th grader at Ball's Bluff ES. In my time outside of my classroom, I enjoy cooking, cleaning, reading, and volunteering. I feel very fortunate to work alongside such dedicated and warm-hearted teachers
