• Welcome to the 2023-2024 School Year!

This year I will be teaching Advanced Placement Physics C: Mechanics, Honors Physics, Research Earth Science, and Academic Earth Science.

Earth Science - both Research and Academic - is the study of the Earth's systems and their interactions. We will be learning about Minerals and Rocks, Astronomy, Meteorology, Oceanography, and Plate Tectonics, among other things.

Physics is the scientific study of physical phenomena like the motion of matter and energy. Honors Physics will cover topics such as Mechanics, Electrostatics and Circuits, Gravitation, Light and Sound, Fluid Mechanics, and some topics of Modern Physics. AP Physics C will explore Mechanics and Gravitation in greater detail, and includes the introduction of Calculus to Physics.

Along with Mrs. Treanor, I am the co-sponser of the Environmental Club. The club helps run events that increases our awareness of our environment, including the Earth Day Thrifted Fashion Show over the past two years, as well as events around the school to clean up and appreciate the natural spaces we have available.

I'm looking forward to a fantastic year with all of you!
