Jennifer Lazhar joined the Park View HS Patriots in the 2020-2021 school year. For the past 20 years she has taught many different grades across Maryland, New York and Virginia. She has taught special education and EL in Loudoun, was a math district coordinator in Westchester County, NY, and was the Assistant Director of Teaching and Learning in a private international PBL & STEM school in Fairfax County. Ms. Lazhar has a master’s degree in Special Education and Administration & Supervision from Johns Hopkins University and a certificate in Behavioral Intervention from the University of Massachusetts. She lives in Ashburn with her husband and two sons. She enjoys reading historical fiction, watching movies, traveling and spending time with her family.
