Ms. Claire Park-Kolonay received her bachelor's degree from Northwestern University and then moved to sunny Los Angeles to attain her teaching credential as well as her Master’s from the University of Southern California. Ms. Park-Kolonay taught in Pasadena, CA for 6 years prior to moving to Virginia. She is originally from New Jersey and has participated in Regional and All State, sitting concertmaster for both orchestras her senior year.

This will be her 1st year of teaching in Loudoun County and will be splitting her time at Freedom High School and Briar Woods High School. She will be teaching Intermediate, Advanced and Artist Orchestras at both schools.

Ms. Park-Kolonay misses California beaches, mountains and the food—but is ready to start new adventures in Virginia and especially at Freedom!
