Mrs. Naureen Khan

Mrs. Khan is a sixth year teacher and it's her second year at Champe! She is from Baltimore, Maryland and just recently moved to Loudoun County when she got married. She previously taught for four years at an International Baccalaureate (IB) high school in Baltimore City, which she absolutely loved. There she taught a variety of social science subjects from U.S. Government to Cultural Anthropology.

Mrs. Khan has a genuine love and passion for teaching and believes that teachers make an extraordinary impact on the lives of students. She values empowering student voices while encouraging them to be decision makers, critical thinkers, and leaders. She also focuses on building a classroom environment that is a safe and welcoming space for her students. Outside of teaching, Mrs. Khan enjoys travelling to experience new cultures, participating in outdoor activities and sports (even though she's not that good - she's tries her best!), and watching movies and television shows with her husband.

Mrs. Khan teaches AP U.S. and Comparative Government and Politics. All information for her courses can be found on Schoology. She loves participating in school events and showing her Champe spirit!
