Mrs. O'Shaughnessy

I am excited and recharged for another school year at Discovery! 

I have been teaching since 2003 in many different roles.  I have taught both general education and special education in grades ranging from preschool to 2nd grade.  I graduated from Radford University with an Early Childhood Special Education/ Early Childhood Education degree.  In 2015, I completed my Masters degree in Curriculum & Instruction.

I have two children, a college freshman and a 9th grader within LCPS.  Our family wouldn’t be complete without our dog Jonny. Our family enjoys camping trips, sporting events, festivals, antique shops and the beach.
