Hello, my name is Marissa Midgley and I am excited to begin my first year at Discovery Elementary School! I cannot wait to meet all of you and your families for the 2020-2021 school year! This is my third year working in Loudoun County. The past two years I worked as a teacher’s assistant in a Kindergarten inclusion room.

I graduated from Radford University with a Bachelor’s degree in Recreation, Parks and Tourism and recently graduated from George Mason University this summer with my Master’s degree in Special Education, with a concentration in General Curriculum (K-12). I have lived in Northern Virginia my whole life and absolutely love it here. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, baking, reading, going on hikes with my dog, and anything else that has to do with the outdoors.
