Hello Leopard Family,
I am excited about joining Lowes Island Elementary this year! This will be my 11th year in education. My classroom experience includes assignments at both the elementary and secondary levels in general education, special education, and English Learner education. I have also had the opportunity to serve as an Adult Education Instructor, an Adjunct Professor, a Professional Development Trainer, a curriculum co-author for Newcomer ELs, a Pupil Services Committee member for dually identified students (EL/SPED), a SPED Case Manager, an Educational Diagnostician, and a Pupil Services Instructional Facilitator in the area of Specialized Reading.
Prior to becoming an educator, I served as a Public Library Administrator in Florida for many years and worked in partnership with the local school district and community college. I look forward to sharing the joy of literacy and learning with your child this school year. Please feel free to email me with any questions.
From the heart,
