Mrs. Elizabeth (Lici) Hogan

Hello!  My name is Lici Hogan and am thrilled to be teaching your child this year. This will be my eleventh year at Cool Spring Elementary (seven as a Special Education Assistant) and my fourth year as a kindergarten teacher. Previously, I have taught 4^th and 5^th grade in Fairfax County Public Schools and have also been a Pre-K teacher and Preschool Director. I earned my BA from Penn State University and my M.Ed from Marymount University. I also have my endorsement in English as a Second Language.

I live in Leesburg with my husband, Michael.  All three of my children attended Cool Spring Elementary (Penguin Pride!). I really enjoy spending time at Lake Gaston, NC--my happy place, and some of my favorite things are drinking coffee, playing trivia games, reading, traveling, hanging out with my cats Liam and Alex, and spending time with my friends and family.

I am so excited to begin this school year--kindergarten is such an exciting year, full of new experiences both academically and socially. We are going to have a wonderful year!

Hola! Mi nombre es Lici Hogan y estoy encantada de enseñarle a su hijo este año. Este será mi undecimo año en Cool Spring Elementary (siete como asistente de educación especial) y mi cuarto año como maestra de jardín de infantes. Anteriormente, he enseñado 4º y 5º grado en las escuelas públicas del condado de Fairfax y también he sido maestra de prekínder y directora de preescolar. Obtuve mi licenciatura en Penn State University y mi maestría en educación en Marymount University. También tengo mi aval en inglés como segundo idioma.

Vivo en Leesburg con mi esposo, Michael. Mis tres hijos asistieron a la escuela Cool Spring Elementary (Penguin Pride!). Realmente disfruto pasar tiempo en Lake Gaston, NC, mi lugar feliz, y algunas de mis cosas favoritas son tomar café, jugar juegos de trivia, leer, salir con mis gatos Liam y Alex, viajar y pasar tiempo con mis amigos y familiares.

Estoy muy emocionado de comenzar este año escolar: el jardín de infantes es un año tan emocionante, lleno de nuevas experiencias tanto académica como socialmente. ¡Vamos a tener un año maravilloso!
