Hello SRM Readers & Families!

I've been an educator since 2002 and have experience as a classroom teacher, reading specialist, literacy coach & intervention specialist. I've worked in elementary, middle and high schools, as well as at the college level. In addition to teaching Reading Strategies at SRM, I am an Instructor of Education in Literacy at the University of Virginia. In my free time, I enjoy cooking (and eating!), yoga, long walks, reading, listening to podcasts, travel baseball with my son and gymnastics/dance with my daughter.
