Teacher Biography
Mrs. Hawes earned her bachelor's degree in Marketing Management and Art from Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!!!) and went on to work for a large Information Technology Company working for Corporate Business Development upon graduation. Mrs. Hawes moved to Loudoun County a few years later and started coaching soccer for the local soccer clubs (recreational and travel). Coach Hawes loved working with students to learn and grow and saw how much she enjoyed watching her players developed. It was at this point she realized being a teacher was her calling. She entered the Career Switcher Program through Shenandoah University.
Born in California, raised in Fauquier County, Mrs. Hawes has been a Loudoun County resident for over 16 years. Mrs. Hawes resides with her husband of over 21 years, 3 kids, and 2 Russell Terriers.
