Hello first graders and families! Welcome to Liberty Elementary School!

My name is Ms. Ferguson and I cannot wait to get started with our year! I am from Leesburg, Virginia and grew up in Loudoun County. This is my fourth year teaching here at Liberty! I even had the pleasure of student teaching here in fourth grade with Ms. Correia! I graduated from Longwood University with my B.S. in Liberal Studies with a Concentration in Elementary Education in 2019 and my Master's in Reading and Literacy in 2020. My mom is also a first grade teacher in LCPS and it is a pleasure to be following in her footsteps.

When I am not teaching, I love to go to the gym, read, spend time with my friends and family, and play with my dog Toffee. Some of my favorite things are Amazon, coffee, and traveling to new places.

I am the oldest of three other siblings who also graduated from or are currently students in LCPS. They have been an incredible support system!

I have fallen in love with teaching first grade and I look forward to meeting and getting to know you this school year! Go Liberty Eagles!
