Mr. Wesley Harris

Hello Timberwolves!  My name is Wesley Harris, and I am excited for my fourth year as a member of the pack. This year I will be serving as the 8th-grade dean!  I am a proud graduate of Loudoun Valley High School. Following high school, I attended West Virginia University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Parks and Recreation and Tourism Resource Management.  I then attended George Mason University and earned my Master’s Degree in Special Education.  I recently returned to George Mason and earned a Masters Level Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis. Prior to becoming a Timberwolf, I spent four years as a self-contained Autism program teacher at Stone Hill Middle School. Then I became a Specialized Facilitator for Autism programs for three years.  I am passionate about working with students and guiding them to be successful not only in the classroom, but in their communities as well.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and my five-and-a-half-year old daughter. I also enjoy playing for the local men’s rugby team.  I also love to travel!  So far I have been able to travel to 9 different European countries. I had the opportunity to combine two of my favorite hobbies by going on a rugby tour throughout southern England when I was 19. My next big trip is to visit my brother-in-law in Japan.
