Degrees and Certifications:
Hi there! My name is Ashley Hinkle and I am THRILLED to be joining the Countryside team this year as our Instructional Facilitator! Previously, I served Prince William County schools as an Instructional Coach in the Office of Professional Learning.
Originally, I was born in Richmond, Virginia. I graduated from Christopher Newport University (Go Captains!) with a Bachelors in Early Childhood Psychology, a minor in Leadership Studies, and a Masters in Elementary Education. I was a classroom teacher in the Richmond area for many years teaching every grade level from K-5. Eventually, I graduated from George Washington University with a Post Masters in Administration & Supervision as well as an endorsement in teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL).
Later, I worked as an Educational Technology Consultant for well-known companies such as Promethean, Audio Enhancement, Livescribe, and many more. I have thoroughly enjoyed my roles as a mentor to educators and professional development trainer all across the state and surrounding D.C. areas.
A few of my favorite things are dogs, exercising, wine tasting, shoe shopping, the Fall season, and chocolate. What I love most of all though is helping teachers and their students achieve more than they ever thought possible!
