Welcome to Second Grade! My name is Kaitlyn Ferrara. This is my sixth year teaching in Loudoun County and my third year at Countryside. I previously taught third grade for three years at Sterling Elementary School. I'm excited to be teaching second grade again this year!
I grew up in Ashburn, Virginia and graduated from Broad Run High School where I played soccer all four years. After high school, I attended Bridgewater College and received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Liberal Studies. I did my student teaching in Harrisonburg, VA before moving back to Ashburn for my first teaching job.
When I'm not at school, I enjoy cooking, going to the gym, reading mysteries, and watching movies!
