Welcome to first grade! My name is Cassidy Rao and I am very excited to be your child’s teacher! I recently moved to Loudoun County from Berkeley County, West Virginia where I taught for three years. I grew up in Pocahontas County, West Virginia- a very small, rural, homegrown town. I attended Shepherd University where I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.

When I am not in the classroom, I like to spend my time cooking, swimming, or by a campfire with my family, friends, and my pup, Bohdi. I am thrilled to be a part of the Countryside family! I love to teach, and I can’t wait to learn and laugh with your child. Together we will make this school year great!
