This is Dana Durusu's third year at Lightridge. She grew up in Danville, VA and attended James Madison University, where she received her BA in English and her Master's in Teaching. She taught in Prince William County Schools for 2 years before coming to Lightridge. She will be teaching Honors English 11, English 9, and PEER this year. She will be a co-sponsor of Project LIT and she will sponsor the Anime Club.

She loves reading, cooking, and going to concerts in her spare time. She is excited to learn from and with her students this year.
