Ms. Durrschmidt

My name is Kara Durrschmidt and I am excited to join the Ashburn Elementary ECSE Team! I graduated from Hobart and William Smith Colleges with degrees in psychology and dance; in addition to my elementary general and special education teaching certifications. I have taught many grade levels but found my heart in early childhood education. I obtained a master’s degree in early childhood education from Towson University, and an early childhood special education endorsement from Lynchburg University. This will be my thirteenth year in early childhood education. I enjoy hiking and spending time with my husband and four children.
