Sponsor Mr. Zangla
PEER is a non-credit class that has three main goals: mentoring elementary students who need a good role model; assisting students at Park View who have various levels of disabilities; and providing one-on-one emotional support for teens who request a PEER to talk to. Admission to PEER is open to rising juniors and seniors. Students must complete an application packet, be referred by at least two faculty members, have parental permission, and be interviewed by the PEER sponsor.
Any student interested in requesting a PEER to talk to for emotional support should see his or her counselor. The counselor will set up a time and place for the student to sit down and talk to the PEER.
