The Patriot Legion allows students to participate in numerous social activities, service projects, and academic competitions.  The Latin Club is Park View's local chapter of the Virginia Junior Classical League (VJCL) and National Junior Classical League (NJCL).  Membership is open to all students enrolled in Latin, formerly enrolled in Latin, or interested in the Classics. Dues are $5.00. The Certamen team is composed of members of the Latin club representing Park View at various academic tournaments held around the Commonwealth against public, private and home schools.
