    The National English Honor Society emphasizes “service to peers, school, and community” through the language arts.  Our founding officers selected the Greek phrase Eunoia Tau for our chapter to reflect the “beautiful minds” of Park View’s NEHS membership.

    Volunteer Opportunities

     

    Patriot Writing Center Tutor

    Help classmates build skills and develop confidence in their writing

    Tutor asynchronously or synchronously during PRIDE or before/after school in the Library

     

    Sterling Library Volunteer

    Reading Buddies (read with elementary school students)

    Administrative support (shelving, sorting, and processing books)

     

    Coffee House (after school)

    Read a poem at our music and English-themed coffee houses held three evenings a year

    Schoolwide invitation to read excerpts from favorite authors
