Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Christina Thompson

I have worked for Loudoun County Public Schools since 2003 and been an Assistant Principal since 2015. I served as a grade level dean at Harmony Middle School from August 2010 to June 2014. After Harmony Middle School I worked at LCPS schools in Ashburn. I have also opened three new schools for Loudoun County: Trailside Middle School; Belmont Ridge Middle School and Briar Woods High School. In 2013 I had the opportunity to be Principal of Summer School at Park View High School. I am constantly searching for new experiences that will allow me learn and grow as a leader! Each grade level has something exciting to offer that constantly reminds me of why I love what I do.

I graduated Loudoun Valley High School in 1998. I attended Shepherd College before it became Shepherd University and received my undergraduate degree in Health and Physical Education. In 2006 I graduated from George Mason University with a Master's Degree in Education Administration. My ultimate goal is to one day be a Principal and possibly open a brand new school of my own!

On a personal note, I would like to tell you about my own wonderful family. My husband works for Frederick County Public Schools in Winchester, Virginia. I have two daughters who also attend Loudoun County Public Schools, Olivia and Aubrey. It is so exciting to be a parent and experience things with my children. It is like I have the chance to be a kid again!

I am so excited to have the opportunity to live and work in Western Loudoun.  Being around the students and being a part of the school community is such a fulfilling and rewarding experience!  Go Wolverines!
