Welcome to Reading Resource! I am excited to join the Lightridge community as a Reading Specialist!  2020 marks my 18th year of teaching, and 16of those years have been with Loudoun County Public Schools.  I received my Bachelor’s degree from Slippery Rock University, located in Pennsylvania in 2001, and I earned my Master’s of Arts degree through the University of Virginia in 2009.  

In my "spare time" I enjoy spending time with my daughters, and our Great Dane Roman. I love all things "literacy" and am an avid reader.  It is my hope to help promote, and foster a lifelong love for reading, and share my enthusiasm for literacy with the students and families here at Lightridge High School.
