Herzlich Willkommen! My name is Frau Knight and I am excited to be joining the Lightridge High School World Language department. I am coming from Stone Bridge High school and this will be my seventh year teaching German, including at private institutions as well as the government.  I have a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts and a Master’s degree in Education. I was born and raised in Germany, finished my "Abitur" and Associate's degree in Heidelberg and moved to the US in 2003. I will be sponsoring a German Club that will allow students to experience and learn more about the traditions and cultures of the German speaking countries. In my spare time I enjoy watching my son (14) play baseball and my daughters (8;5) dance and do gymnastics. As a family we love traveling to get away and spend time together especially on a yearly trip back to my hometown.
