Mrs. Stewart completed her undergraduate studies at Virginia Tech and obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science. She also holds a Master's Degree in Secondary Education with a concentration in Biology from George Mason University. She currently teaches Research and Academic Biology at Lightridge High School! Prior to teaching, she worked as an Environmental Scientist at the Department of Environmental Quality and Fairfax County Health Department, where she analyzed water quality and inspected many different facilities for pollution regulation. She loves integrating her work experience with her teaching practices!
