Mrs. Gargan has been teaching in Loudoun County as a science teacher for the last 9 years. She received her Bachelor of Science in Earth Science and a minor in Geoscience from Penn State University. She then continued her education at California University of Pennsylvania, earning her Master of Arts Teaching with a concentration in Earth and Space Science. 

Mrs. Gargan is originally from Pittsburgh, so her favorite season is naturally fall, when she gets to cheer for her Nittany Lions and Steelers. In her spare time, Mrs. Gargan enjoys spending time with her husband, son and daughter, and pets. She loves being active outdoors, dancing, and traveling.
