¡¡¡¡Hola amig@s!!!!

My name is Julia Scott and I am so excited to return to Lightridge High School for the 2021-22 school year! This will be my fifth year teaching in LCPS, where I also graduated from. I spent my early childhood in New Jersey before my family moved to Sterling, Virginia, where I attended both Stelring Middle and Park View High School. I then moved to Ohio to attend Bowling Green State University, where I obtained my bachelor's degree in World Language Education. I later earned my Master's of Education in Instructional Design from Western Governors University.

I moved back to northern VA in 2017 and taught Spanish for three years at Rock Ridge HS. I absolutely love teaching in Loudoun and am very honored to be part of the charter staff of high school #17 in LCPS! I will be teaching Spanish 1 and 4 Honors this year at LHS, as well as PEER,  and co-sponsoring the Spanish Language Club. I live in Leesburg with my husband and our two cats, Thor and Nala. In my free time I like to read, watch Netflix, cook, and spend time outdoors hiking or at the beach during warmer months. I am looking forward to an amazing year with you all!
