Mrs. Dina Botros
Madame Dina Botros
I am the French teacher for levels 3, 4, 5 and AP at Lightridge High school.
In my class, I teach French language and culture. Students who come to my class will discover the secret world of the French-speaking countries. I am passionate about the French language and I am willing to transfer this lovely feeling to my students. I am sponsoring the French club in room 2203. We will meet during club days . Joining the French club is very interesting. YOU WILL LEARN A LOT!
Education
I received my Bachelor's Degree in Arts and Education and my Master of Methods of Teaching in French at Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt.
I have received a training of 40 university hours at the French cultural center in Cairo.
Teaching Experience
I was a teacher at Collège de la Salle (French school)for 3 years and then at Collège de la Delivrande (French school) for 10 years in Cairo, Egypt. After moving to the US, I worked at Winchester Academy private school for 3 years. I started working for Loudoun County public school in the school year 2015- 2016. My school in Egypt promoted me to travel to France and I got one month's training for teachers. It was the most interesting experience I ever had in my life. My family and I go to France each summer to spend time there and to be surrounded by the amazing French culture.
It is a great pleasure to teach your students the French language and culture at Lightridge High School. We will enjoy learning the language together, talking in French and discovering the world.
