Mr. Eric Fritz

This is Mr. Fritz’s 17th year with Loudoun County Public Schools.  This year, he is teaching AP English Language and Composition and English 11. Previously, Mr. Fritz served as an assistant principal, dean, and English teacher. He also tutored students in SAT preparation through a private company. Before working in education, he was a lecture agent representing celebrities for speaking engagements. He graduated Phi Betta Kappa from Gettysburg College and earned a master’s degree from George Mason University.

As an educator, Mr. Fritz strives to find ways to make learning authentic, meaningful, and fun. Students will often be led to make connections to their lives as a way to develop a greater intellectual curiosity. He has presented to numerous state and national associations, including the Virginia Association of Supervision and Curriculum and The National Forum to Accelerate Middle-Grades Reform. His writing has been published by a national educational magazine.

Outside of school, Eric enjoys spending time with his wife, two sons (both in college), and two dogs. He is also the head golf coach for Lightridge. Please email him with any questions, concerns, or feedback.
