Mrs. Brenda Burlingame
I am a native Virginian who aspired to be a teacher my entire life. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Education from James Madison University, a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Radford University and a Reading Specialist Endorsement from George Mason University. I spent several years as a classroom teacher of 1st and 2nd grade in both Loudoun and Prince William counties. While home raising her children, I have spent 3 years as a part time reading teacher in Prince William County, working daily with small groups of students in grades K-3. I have an infectious passion for teaching children to read by providing the tools and support to help them succeed. I reside in Northern Virginia with her husband, 2 children and black lab. My family loves traveling, exercising, reading, and spending time together. I am excited to support the students and families of Sully Elementary this year!
