Miss Wade

I am so excited be Sully's librarian! I love helping students find books that excite them and teaching them to navigate resources to find answers to their questions about the world.

I have worked in LCPS for sixteen years. Before coming to Sully, I was a classroom teacher and English learners teacher. I have a bachelor's degree in English and biology, a master's degree in English, and a master's degree in education. I am a National Board Certified Teacher in the area of Literacy (Reading-Language Arts).

I encourage you to contact me with any questions or feedback you may have about our library!

My name is Annette Shields.  I am excited to be your Library Assistant at Sully Elementary School. I'm originally from Berlin, Germany. I'll be starting my seventh year at Sully where I have worked as both a Technology Assistant and a Library Assistant. Outside of school, I love to read and I am passionate about traveling with my family.  I also enjoy spending time outdoors, whether it's hiking, biking, camping, snorkeling, scuba diving or just working in the garden.

My goal as your Library Assistant is to inspire and encourage our Sully Hornets to read, explore new books and learn. I enjoy working with our students and most of all strive to brighten their day when they visit our library.
