Mr. David Campione

My name is David Campione and I began teaching art at Sully Elementary in 2008.  I consider myself very lucky to continue my life's calling at such a wonderful school.  I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts from James Madison University in May of 2006, and completed student teaching in the Fall of 2007. I began working for Loudoun County Public Schools as a long-term substitute for Arcola Elementary during the spring of 2008.  In college, my studies focused on studio art and art education, and I am fully licensed by Virginia’s Department of Education to teach pre-K – 12 visual arts.  I am looking forward to a wonderful school year, which I hope to be followed by many more wonderful years working with the talented students here at Sully.

In addition to being the art teacher at Sully, I am also an artist who has sold my work at craft fairs, college shows, and even an eco-friendly gift store.  I also play both classical and electric guitar, bass, and hand drums as well.  Once again, I would like to express my excitement about this school year, and I’m eager to see all of the great accomplishments that our students will achieve.

If you have questions, concerns, or would like to volunteer some of your time, please feel free to contact me by email.
