Ms. Tolaya Andrews

Ms. Andrews is excited for another great year of making music at Sully Elementary! She holds a Bachelor's Degree of Music, Voice and Opera from Northwestern University and studied Education at Shenandoah University. This will be her ninth year serving as music teacher for Loudoun County Public Schools. She previously taught at Countryside, Guilford and Sterling Elementary Schools. She has also worked as a substitute teacher and in administration with LCPS for 14 years. She has performed as a vocal artist in the Broadway National Tour of the musical Show Boat and Porgy Bess. She has also appeared locally with Loudoun Lyric Opera and Master Singers of Virginia.

Mrs. Deborah Schmidt

Mrs. Schmidt holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the Crane School of Music (SUNY Potsdam, NY) and a Master of Science with a concentration in Music Education from Western Connecticut State University (Danbury, CT). 

This will be her 33rd year of teaching, and her 16th teaching music for Loudoun County Public Schools. She has previously taught strings at Heritage HS, Simpson MS, Park View HS, and Sterling MS. She currently teaches general music at Sully Elementary and Hillside Elementary.  She previously taught strings 4-12th grade in Fairfax County before coming to Loudoun.

She is looking forward to being back at Sully this year!
