Ms. Beth BartsSchool Board Member, Leesburg District
Beth Barts was born into a family of educators and raised on a farm in the Shenandoah Valley. Beth attended Shepherd University where she received her degree in Library Science. Beth and her husband Bobby have been Leesburg residents for 23 years and have seen the town grow to become a vibrant community offering many amenities and opportunities for its residents while maintaining its historic small-town feel.
As a former educator, PTA volunteer and Girl Scout troop leader, Beth Barts has been an advocate for community engagement in education for almost two decades. Beth is a strong believer in parent outreach and has always enjoyed sharing information about new programs, hearing about education related concerns and researching new initiatives.
Beth is a longtime 49ers fan who loves to read, visit the lake with her extended family and hang out with her rescued dog and cat. She is always available to have a cup of coffee with friends or strangers when it comes to thoughts about our schools. Beth is honored to represent the Leesburg district and looks forward to serving her community over the next four years.
