Kelly Holowecki, Director

Loudoun Valley currently offers two choral classes: Mixed Chorus (Voices of Valhalla) and Women's Chorus (The Valkyries). Placement in the Women's ensemble is based on audition and director recommendation. Auditions will take place late in the spring semester.

Choral education in Loudoun County begins in the elementary schools and is offered continually through the middle and high school settings. The goal at LVHS is to provide students with experiences in singing diverse collections of choral literature, to further develop vocal technique in the solo, small ensemble, and choral settings, and to build upon music theory and sight-reading skills. Throughout the year, students complete both formal and informal performances individually, in small ensembles and as a class.

Information on class events will be consistently updated via:
Remind App (mandatory for students, available to parents as well)
Google Classroom (mandatory for students, only available via student log-in)
via CHARMS (strongly encouraged for students AND parents).
Please email Ms. Holowecki if you are not receiving information through any of these platforms.
