Mrs. Allison Pendilhe, IFT
Mrs. Pendilhe joined the Lovettsville staff as the Instructional Facilitator of Technology during the 2018-2019 school year. She previously taught Social Science for 12 years at Sterling Middle School. Mrs. Pendilhe grew up in Johnstown, a small town in western Pennsylvania (needless to say she is a huge Steeler fan!) and attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she graduated in 2004 with a B.S. in Social Studies Education. In 2013 she received an M. Ed. degree from George Mason University, with a concentration in Instructional Technology for Schools. Mrs. Pendilhe lives in Purcellville, VA with her husband and 2 sons, who are 8 and 6 and attend Lovettsville Elementary. She is excited for another technology enhanced year with all the wonderful Lovettsville students and teachers.

Mrs. Susan Zimmerman, DES
Mrs. Zimmerman currently serves as the Digital Experience Specialist for Lovettsville and is responsible for helping students and staff with all technology devices. She has deep roots at Lovettsville Elementary, as both her boys, now in college, attended Lovettsville from K- 5th grade. Mrs. Zimmerman grew up in New Mexico and moved to the Washington D.C. area to work on Capitol Hill. She and her husband moved to Lovettsville in 1994. She has a BA in Speech Communications from the University of New Mexico and completed her MA in Communication at the American University. While Mrs. Zimmerman has spent numerous hours volunteering and substituting at Lovettesville, she is perhaps most remembered for bringing her dog Annie, a certified therapy and reading dog, to the school to help kids with their reading skills. When Annie retired, Mrs. Zimmerman became the Technology Assistant for Lovettsville and assumed the role of DES when it was created several years ago.
