Mrs. Tansy Wetmore

Dear Parents and Students,

My name is Tansy Wetmore.  I am a Loudoun Native!  I grew up in Lovettsville with my parents and three brothers.

I graduated from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia with a Bachelor of Education in 1999 and a Master’s degree in Reading in 2001.  I completed my Library Media certification in 2013.

I live in Round Hill, Virginia with my husband, three sons and the newest addition to our family, Ripley.  My oldest son is fifteen years old, my middle son is eleven and my youngest son is eight.  Ripley is our 5 pound Chihuahua that we adopted.  They keep me very busy!!  In my “spare” time I enjoy reading, watching football, and playing with my boys and Ripley.

This will be my eighteenth year teaching in Loudoun County.  I was a reading Specialist for two years and taught Fourth Grade at Cedar Lane Elementary in Ashburn, and second and fifth here at Lovettsville Elementary.  I am very excited to work with all of the students in the library and share my love of reading!

Mrs. Diana Brubaker

 Hello Lovettsville Friends,

My name is Diana Brubaker. You can call me Mrs. B. I am excited to be in the library at Lovettsville Elementary School.  I started a second career in librarianship at the Martinsburg Public Library and have served two years at Woodgrove High School.

I love spending time with my family taking adventures outdoors, kayaking, hiking, biking and traveling the world.

I keep active in my body by walking my dog everyday. I stay connected with my heart by playing cello, singing and dancing. I stimulate my mind by reading great books and practicing mindfulness.

I look forward to seeing you in the library!
