Mrs. Tansy Wetmore

Dear Parents and Students,

My name is Tansy Wetmore.  I am a Loudoun native!  I grew up in Lovettsville with my parents and three brothers.

I graduated from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia with a Bachelor of Education in 1999 and a Master’s degree in Reading in 2001.  I completed my Library Media certification in 2013.

I live in Round Hill, Virginia with my husband, three sons and our dog Ripley.  My oldest son is seventeen years old, my middle son is thirteen and my youngest son is ten.  Ripley is our 7 pound Chihuahua that we adopted.  They keep me very busy!!  In my “spare” time I enjoy reading, watching football, and playing with my boys and Ripley.

This will be my twenty-first year teaching in Loudoun County.  I was a reading specialist for two years and taught Fourth Grade at Cedar Lane Elementary in Ashburn, and second and fifth here at Lovettsville Elementary.  I am very excited to work with all of the students in the library and share my love of reading!

Mrs. Mo Thomas

Hi! My name is Mo Thomas, and I am happy to be the Library Assistant at Lovettsville Elementary.I have three teenage boys who all went to Lovetsville Elementary from K–5.Working in the schools allows me to have summer with my boys and visit the lakes in Wisconsin, where I grew up. We live on the creek and enjoy kayaking in the summer. In the winter we love to snowboard as a family. Being on the water is my happy place. I love books and reading... Bring on the chair and ottoman in the window,so the library is a good fit for me. However, art is my first love and I used to work as a scenic painter and a decorative painter. I graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelors degree in Interior Design.
