Salvete omnes!I am excited to begin my 41st year teaching Latin at Loudoun County High School. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Classics from Randolph-Macon Woman's College in Lynchburg VA in 1981. I was fortunate to spend my Junior year of college abroad at the University of Reading in England studying Latin and Greek. During the summer of that year I worked at the Silchester excavation site where British students from the university exhumed parts of a Roman amphitheater. I have traveled extensively overseas leading student tours during the school calendar breaks.Nota Bene: There is an excellent web site for the Latin classes that I teach. Your child can access this valuable resource anytime to facilitate mastery of the Latin language. Whenever a student is absent from class, he/she can access a make up assignment from the stage of Latin that is currently studied. Each stage of the textbook has excellent Latin stories that will review the grammatical information that may have been missed during the student's absence. See Additional Resources for login instructions to CLC.
