• My name is Linda Mejia.  I was born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.  At the age of seven, my family moved to Monrovia, Liberia.  At that time there was no such thing as an EL (English Learner) program.  It was sink or swim. This experience and others helped me to make the decision to go into education.

I am fluent in English and Spanish and I am learning Arabic.  During the summers I love to travel.  I have been to Spain, Italy, France, Ireland, Bulgaria, Germany, Norway, Greece, Turkey, Jamaica, Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Argentina, Chile, South Africa, Cote d'Ivoire, Zimbawe, Zambia, and South Korea.  Where will I go next??? Stay tuned!  I will start planning soon.

This is my first year at Seneca Ridge, and I am excited to be a part of the EL team.  I am at Seneca Ridge on B days and provide reading science, and math support to our EL students.
