• My name is Linda Mejia.  I was born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.  At the age of seven, my family moved to Monrovia, Liberia.  At that time there was no such thing as an EL (English Learner) program.  It was sink or swim. This experience and others helped me to make the decision to go into education.

I am fluent in English and Spanish.  During the summers I love to travel.  I have been to Spain, Italy, France, Ireland, Bulgaria, Germany, Norway, Greece, Turkey, Jamaica, Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Argentina, Chile, South Africa, Cote d'Ivoire, Zimbawe, Zambia, and South Korea. When possible, I woud love to travel next to Iceland, Vietnam, Thailand, and India.

This is my second year at Seneca Ridge, and I am excited to be a part of the EL team.  I am at Seneca Ridge on B days and provide reading and science support to our EL students.
