Martha Schonberger earned her B.S in Environmental Science and Communication from Western Michigan University in 1983. In 1985 she earned her Masters degree in Environmental Law and Public Policy from Vermont Law School. After working as a special education teaching assistant at the elementary level for 9 years, she earned her teaching license. Martha has taught special education at the middle school level for 5 years, and this is her 9th year teaching special education at Loudoun County High School. In 2007 Martha was awarded the Shenandoah University Teacher of the Year award.
