    Master Chief Foust was born in Amarillo, Texas and enlisted in the Navy in October 1982, attending Recruit Training Command in Orlando, Florida; Machinery Repairman “A” School in San Diego, California in 1983; and Master at Arms “A” School in Fort McClellan, Alabama in 1987.  She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Science from Chapman University in 2004.  She received her Master’s Degree in Education in 2014 from Fort Hays State University.

    Her duty assignments include AFDM-7 Sustain, Norfolk, Virginia, USS L. Y Spear (AS-36), Norfolk, Virginia, SIMA, Norfolk, Virginia, Naval Air Station Oceana, Virginia Beach, Virginia, USS Emory S. Land (AS-39), Norfolk, Virginia, Hampton Roads Area Shore Patrol, Norfolk, Virginia, USS Shenandoah (AD-44), Norfolk, Virginia, Fleet Activities, Sasebo, Japan, Naval Air Station Key West, Florida, USS Belleau Wood (LHA-3), Sasebo, Japan, USS Essex (LHD-2), Sasebo, Japan, Naval Air Station Lemoore, California, National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, Maryland, and Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron Three, Detachment Bahrain, USS IWO JIMA (LHD-7), and Naval Support Activity, Bethesda, Maryland.

    She is authorized to wear the Meritorious Service Medal with one gold star, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with two gold stars, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, Good Conduct Medal with one silver star and two bronze stars, National Defense Service Medal with one bronze star, Southwest Asia Service Medal with one bronze star, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, Kuwait Liberation (Kuwait) Medal, Navy Expert Rifleman Medal, and a number of other unit and campaign awards.  Master Chief Foust is Enlisted Surface, Expeditionary and Air Warfare Specialist Qualified.

    Master Chief Foust retired in December 2010 and is now a Naval Science Instructor at Loudoun County High School in Leesburg, Virginia.
