Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Feeser

Hello Pumas!  My name is Tina Feeser, and I am an EL specialist here at Pinebrook Elementary.  I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Ball State University and later added an ELL endorsement.  I moved to FL after I graduated college and then to VA in 2013. I started my teaching career in FL until my transition to VA.  I have taught first through fourth grade students, and this will be my 23rd year of teaching.

As a classroom teacher, I realized that I really enjoyed working with EL students. They were so eager to learn and made tremendous growth throughout the year.  Being an EL student myself has helped me to empathize with new students who move here from other countries. I am passionate about helping these students adjust as they start their difficult journey in a new environment.  So naturally, I was drawn to become an EL teacher.

Outside of school, I like to spend time with my husband and son who will be a second grader this year.  I also like to visit with family and friends, travel, watch movies, and read a good mystery book. I am looking forward to working with the students of Pinebrook.  Please feel free to contact me at if you have any questions about EL.
